Good afternoon!
The GMA weekend is fast approaching. I wanted to give those members who are attending a quick update on some items of importance. All details will be finalized by early this coming week. The event web page will be updated accordingly!
COST: There is no cost to attend or ride.

MEALS: BIG THANKS to Hourglass Cycles of Buford (Kyle Campbell) and BMW of Atlanta (Woolie) as they are sponsoring the Saturday and Sunday pancake breakfasts! That's right, two FREE breakfasts from our great dealer partners!

The only charge for the weekend will be for Saturday night's BBQ dinner, served by our friends at TWO. The cost will be $12.00 per head and will include sides and a drink. There will be a vegetarian option. Of course you do not have to dine with us Saturday night but we sure hope you do. And don't forget to tip the wonderful hosts at TWO that take such great care of us.

Friday dinner, you are on your own.  Feel free to dine at TWO or ride into one of the North Georgia towns!

RIDES: There will be one road ride on Saturday for you tarmac junkies. Route and route leader info to follow.

Tom Asher of the U.S. GS Trophy team is coming down from Ohio to lead rides and do some instructional training for us! WOW! Thank you Alejandro Alvarez for setting this up.
Friday, there will be a 10:00 a.m. off-road ride and a mid-afternoon off-road ride for anyone who is there on Friday and ready to ride.  The 10:00 a.m. ride is oriented toward the beginner to intermediate rider but all skill levels are welcome.  The mid-afternoon ride might be a little more "spirited" in pace, not necessarily terrain.

Saturday and Sunday, there will be 3 off-road rides (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). Ride leaders and routes are being finalized.  Ride will leave out approximately 9:30 - 10:00 a.m.

The Sunday advanced ride will be lead by our friend and 2014 GS Trophy trialist, Bobby Wooldrige of BMW Ducati Husqvarna of Atlanta.  This ride will be challenging so make sure you are honest with your own ride level capabilities before joining Bobby!  Thanks again, Bobby, for joining us and leading this ride!

ACCOMODATIONS: Each attendee is responsible for their own accomodations.

Tom Asher will also be giving a presentation for us Saturday night after dinner! Great Stuff!

If you are thinking about coming and have not registered please do so asap as registration will be cut off this coming Monday at 6:00 p.m.

I NEED YOUR HELP...
If you are planning on attending and riding Saturday's road ride only (no dirt) please email me at bgrantjr@aol.com and let me know so that I can finalize road ride plans.

If you are going to be riding off-road with us, please be on the look out for a questionnaire that I am sending out tonight. Every member attending will receive this questionnaire. If you are riding road only, you may disregard it.

This questionnaire will be asking your skill level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and what kind of bike you will be riding. I need this info so that I allocate ride leaders appropriately, based on the headcount for each riding level. Please return the questionnaire by this Friday, 9/16.
